Information Technology Manager

Company Overview:

Lazer Telecom is a leading telecommunications company providing high-speed internet and communication services to customers across the Algarve.

We are hiring an IT manager/Network engineer to join our growing team.

The individual selected for the role of IT manager will be looking after the IT network crucial to our business as ISP.

The role requires outstanding know-how and experience in IT networks being FTTH, HFC and Wifi, as well as systems administration.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of networking connections and configurations;
• Troubleshoot network problems remotely with the field technicians;
• Support corporate customers on their IT challenges and propose solutions;
• Improve on the available tools and always look to improve and optimize procedures;
• Plan and design IT networks, and support technician on its execution;
• Support sales team on achieving a viable and cost effective solutions to customers;

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in IT or Telecommunications Engineering CCNA (preferred)
• Ability to Work as a team
• Ability to self-motivate
• Fluent English
• Software development abilities preferred (PHP,Javascript,C,Bash)
• Excellent Networking skills
• Excellent system administration skills
• Strong problem solving and communication skills

Location: This position is onsite based in Loule, Portugal
